Saturday in VA
Wow, we finally made it home! Flat Brandon went with me to Los Angeles, California last Saturday, and we just got home tonight.
But first, before we left, he got to meet my friend from work, Christian...he has a Ducate motorcycle and his helmet has a monkey on it!
Hey, who's that on the back of Christian's bike?
Flat Brandon! You better hold on...
Then we were off to California...The first thing Flat Brandon wanted to do when we got to the hotel was take a nap! But we had other plans for him!

Then we went to the Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena!
And a rooster!
Here we are at Hermosa Beach admiring the big boats
And of course we had to hit Hollywood. If you click on the picture you can see the Hollywood letters up on the hillside behind us.
And last but not least, Mann's Chinese Theater.
This is the place movie stars place their hand and foot prints in concrete...we found R2D2 and C3P0.

We flew home tonight...I just tucked him in bed. He is sooooo tired, he went right to sleep!
Tune in later this week for our Turkey Day update!

The latest...
Flat Brandon has been a busy boy. Over the past week, he helped me study for finals, and went to work with me.
Here's Flat Brandon with me in front of my building with the first ship we built here at the shipyard back in 1891.

Here's a picture of the Dorothy back in the day...

Here's a link to our company if you want to see pictures of aircraft carriers and other boats.

Here are some pictures of where I work, Northrop Grumman Newport News Shipyard...this is my cubicle. (You can click on the picture to make it larger...notice my white board says "Flat Brandon is Here") I'm going to mail Brandon's class the very same poster I have on my cube wall. It's a picture of the submarine we built called...The Texas! That's why the artist made the submarine with the head of a Long Horn Steer on the front. Yee Haw!
Hey, who is that sitting in my cube? Flat Brandon!
Here he is, hard at work. You can see a picture of his baby sister Zoey up on the wall.
